Croydon Judo Club is the latest club to join JP2F4S (April 2015). One of the oldest judo clubs in the UK, it celebrated its 60th anniversary in 2011. In recognition of its quality, the Croydon Judo Club was awarded the Sport England Clubmark in 2005, one of only 1000 Clubmarks that have been awarded countrywide across all sports. It has also earned a Bronze Recognition Award from the British Judo Association to acknowledge the high standards achieved within the club.
Providing judo classes for children and adults of all ages, the club seeks to foster, encourage and develop participation in the Olympic sport. In the classes for juniors, the emphasis is on having fun, but behind this there is also the opportunity to develop self-discipline, confidence, respect, courage and integrity – core values shared by JP2F4S and all its members.
