JP2F4S club Kent Athletic is making great progress this season

Kent AC socialising after the match

JP2F4S club Kent Athletic  is having an outstanding season and goes into its last two matches joint first in the British League Div 2 table. There is everything to play for if Kent AC is to be promoted.

On June 3, Kent Athletic Club took part in the British League Div 2 match in Yate, outside Bristol, and by all accounts it was an excellent day.

The team performed well in the long jump, 400m hurdles, 3000 m steeplechase, triple jump, javelin and a number of relay races.

Joe Appiah, Kent Athletic Club Captain, has written a blow by blow account of the day which we have attached here: British League Div 2 Kent AC.

Kent Athletic Club became the second club to join JP2F4S in 2015. Based in Lewisham, Kent AC is one of Britain’s top athletics and running clubs. Founded over 120 years ago, it has seen great success in the past 25 years, rising 10 divisions in the space of 19 seasons. The last decade has also seen members emerge onto the international scene, with no less than nine current international athletes.

Whilst small (around 150 members), Kent Athletic Club prides itself on being friendly and inspiring and focuses on developing talented 16-21 year old athletes, encouraging them to continue as active seniors. The club attracts all levels of runners and is always looking for enthusiastic young athletes to join its ranks.
