Club Set Up
The John Paul 2 Foundation 4 Sport (JP2F4S) aims to help people, particularly young people, to develop their PIES: physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual capacities through sport, guided by the principles identified by Pope John Paul II and set out in his declarations and writing. To honour the memory of Pope Paul II, we are working to identify disadvantaged areas where a lack of recreational and sporting facilities is limiting the ability of young people to achieve their potential: academically, socially and physically.
But can’t do this all alone – so we thought we would upload a useful set of tips to help you set up a JP2F4S sports club.Download Document
Policies & Procedures
JP2F4S has a duty of care to safeguard all children involved in its work from harm. All children have a right to protection, and the needs of disabled children and others who may be particularly vulnerable, must be taken into account. The Foundation will ensure the safety and protection of all children involved in its work through adherence to the Child Protection guidelines adopted by JP2F4S.Download Document
It is the Foundation’s policy not to discriminate against any individual on the basis of their gender, sexual orientation, marital or civil partner status, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, colour, nationality, ethnic or national origin, disability or age, pregnancy or trade union membership or the fact that they are a temporary, part-time or fixed-term worker.
The Foundation is committed to the principle and practice of equal opportunities and celebrates the diversity of people. We understand that these two concepts are not the same but are complementary, because without compromise, recognising and, most importantly, valuing differences between people, there cannot be true equality.Download Document
