The Unity of Faiths Foundation’s mission is to help ‘unite’ people of all communities irrespective of their religious belief, cultural or social background. It aims to help create a more stable, tolerant and cooperative future for all by promoting harmony and understanding between communities, drawing upon and celebrating the commonalities that unite people. The Foundation is a non-profit, secular organisation striving for unity between people and communities.
LONDON SPORTS TRUST
The London Sports Trust is a charity dedicated to helping young Londoners through sport. They work with local partners, schools and communities to help disadvantaged children and young people fulfil their potential through mentoring and training programmes. The London Sports Trust started in 1999 with the support of David Robins at John Lyons Charity, the goal being to support talented sports stars in financial need through bursaries and educational guidance. The Trust evolved from the Sports Scholarship Scheme in Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster whose first recipient was Olympic Gold medallist and Tour de France champion Bradley Wiggins.
